GLOBAL SALES SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR (GSSA)

REPORTING TO: MANAGER, GLOBAL SALES SUPPORT

POSITION SUMMARY

Working in a team environment, the Global Sales Support Administrator (GSSA) assists with customer interaction, quote development, order processing, and ERP data entry/updating. The GSSA plays a critical role in ensuring both our internal and external clients receive accurate and timely responses to their quote requests as well as the subsequent related order entry activities. They also contribute to corporate process improvement projects to ensure our process steps add value to our clients.

There are three levels of Global Sales Support Administrator. Level (I) Administrators start by learning the Sales Support activities listed below before moving onto level (II) Administrator activities included in the Estimates, Quotes and Order processing section listed below. Level (III) Administrators demonstrate proficiency in all activities listed below.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Sales Support

    • Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers at all times
    • Assist Outside Sales with outbound contact with prospects/customers for quote follow-up, information collection, order status updates
    • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Outside Sales team member for further development and closure
    • Prepare, maintain, and distribute information within electronic departmental files:
      • o Correspondence: technical sales, quotations, bid proposals, orders, order confirmations, confirmation of shipping details.
    • Keep internal systems up to date and organized. These include Sharepoint, Epicor and SalesForce
    • Liaise with other departments for supporting information as required
    • Attend tradeshows and provide demonstrations at customer’ facilities from time to time
    • Follow and apply (CEL Group of Companies) Conviron/Argus ISO9001 policy and Argus Quality Management System including contract review and procedures

Estimates, Quotations, and Order Processing

  • Develop a technical familiarity with CEL products and service offerings
  • Review and adapt to information regarding product innovations, competitors, and market conditions
  • Assess clients’ needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or service
  • Prepare and administer sales proposals and contracts
  • Estimate quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates
  • Create costing estimates for both quotes and orders.
  • Review purchase orders, process orders and QMS checklists
  • Complete and submit order acknowledgement with project timelines confirmation
  • Ensure quote templates, price lists, terms and conditions, and other such work instructions and/or controlled documents are maintained and current, as directed by ISO policy
  • Provide support and training for other members of the Sales team, as required

  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks with acute attention to detail, consistency and within timelines
  • Ability to present information in a concise and efficient manner via written/verbal communication and presentation skills.

Employment Requirements:

  • A minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar role, preferably within Agri-Tech industry
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Epicor, and similar platform
  • High level of commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Knowledgeable of industry products (an asset)

RATE OF PAY

The range for this role is $55,000 to $70,000.

The successful applicant will be remunerated based on the level of skills, competencies, education, and experience.
