POSITION SUMMARY

The Aftermarket Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue and customer retention across the installed base by managing sales and coordination activities related to Preventative Maintenance (PM) contracts, Extended Warranty programs, service inspection scheduling, repair quoting, parts programs, and block of hours service contracts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Contract Sales

  • Sell Preventative Maintenance (PM) contracts, including single‑year and multi‑year options, and communicate program scope, pricing, and benefits.
  • Sell Extended Warranty programs, provide renewal notices, explain coverage, and manage customer decisions ahead of warranty expiry.
  • Sell block‑of‑hours service contracts for flexible customer support needs.

Parts Program Sales

  • Generate sales for growth chamber and controls parts through structured parts programs (sales responsibility only; order fulfillment handled by a separate team).
  • Recommend parts packages aligned with maintenance schedules and customer equipment lifecycle needs.

Scheduling & Service Coordination

  • Coordinate Preventative Maintenance inspections, repairs, and warranty service with clients and subcontractors; confirm site readiness, access requirements, and timelines.
  • Ensure PM checklists, inspection reports, and deficiency findings are collected and communicated.

Financial & Administrative Oversight

  • Prepare and submit Cost of Goods Sold (CoGS) packages for approval and maintain accurate costing inputs.
  • Work with AP/AR teams to support invoice processing, payment holds/releases, and documentation completeness.

Process Management & Systems

  • Use Salesforce, Epicor, and internal shared directories to manage service contracts, job data, and financial information.
  • Maintain and update PM trackers, subcontractor lists, templates, workflows, and documentation used across the Aftermarket team.

Customer & Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as the primary contact for all aftermarket program activities, providing updates, clarifications, renewal options, and follow‑through on service outcomes.
  • Liaise with clients, field service technicians, subcontractors, sales support, finance teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of PM and warranty services.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRMENTS

  • Post secondary education in business or a technical discipline is preferred.
  • Experience in aftermarket or service sales, including selling Preventative Maintenance contracts, Extended Warranties, blocks of hours, and structured parts programs.
  • Background coordinating technical service activities, such as PM scheduling, subcontractor engagement, inspection report collection, and repair follow ups.
  • Customer account management experience, handling renewals, quoting, status updates, and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with financial processes, including preparing basic CoGS packages and interfacing with AP/AR for invoice and approvals.
  • Proficiency with business systems including CRM (Salesforce), ERP (Epicor), financial software (Accpac), and shared drive document workflows is ideal.
  • Ideally, experience working with technical equipment or technical service teams, ideally in controlled environment, HVAC, or laboratory equipment contexts.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, managing high volume email coordination and maintaining organized service records.
